Disabling Telephone Access

As a safety precaution, telephone access will be disabled if multiple invalid attempts
are made to make changes to your system from a remote telephone. Specifically, your
remote telephone access will disconnect the telephone call if an incorrect passcode is
entered four times. The security system keypad will display a "Hacker" message, the
"Hacker" event will be recorded in the event log and the telephone access system will
be disabled for 15 minutes. Disable the remote telephone access at any time by
disabling passcode #5 at your security system keypad. See page 42 for instructions.

Automatic Lighting Modules

The automatic operation of lighting may be accomplished by (1) replacing ordinary
wall switches and wall power receptacles with addressable versions or (2) by using
plug-in lamps modules that accept corded lamps and these lighting modules are then
inserted into standard wall receptacles.
Once the system has been set-up, only Honeywell can add additional lighting
modules. If for any reason the modules need to be moved and do not work in the new
location please call the Customer Service Center for assistance.

Automatic Lighting

The system can automatically (1) turn on selected lights to let you safely leave and to
light your way on your return, (2) turn on lights in the event of an alarm to attract
attention or light your way out of the home in an emergency, and (3) randomly operate
lights while you are away to create a lived-in-look.
The procedures that follow enable the user to turn all controlled lights off from
bedisde, turn all lights off following an alarm or entry and to completely disable the
automatic lighting function.
