Problem: The test does not start after inserting the test strip into the monitor
and applying the blood.
Cause
Blood volume too low
Faulty test strip
Blood was applied with the
monitor switched off
Faulty coding
Basic settings of monitor
have been changed and the
change was not completed
(see "4.2 Making basic
settings" page 18).
Faulty monitor
Problem: The blood pressure value is unusually high or low
Cause
You moved or talked during
the measurement.
You are not yet relaxed
enough.

Remedy
Repeat test with new test strip and greater
volume of blood.
Repeat test with a new test strip.
Repeat test, apply blood when

Press 'SET' button until OFF is displayed.

Remedy
You should wait five minutes before measuring
a second time.
