4. Inspect the gear surface of both of the bushings for
damage (Fig. 1014).
5. Inspect the drive gear and driven gear surfaces for
damage (Fig. 1015).

6. Remove the back-up ring from the top and bottom
bushings (Fig. 1016).
7. Remove the gear seal from the top and bottom
