Installing the Seat, Seat Belt,
and Manual Tube
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Seat kit (obtain separately)
1 Seat suspension kit (obtain separately)
1 Manual tube
2 R-clamp
1 Seat belt
2 Bolt
2 Lock washer
Procedure
The machine is shipped without the seat assembly. A
Seat, Model No. 30622 and Suspension, Model No.
30621 or Seat, Model No. 30396 and Suspension, Model
No. 30398 must be purchased and installed.
1. Mount the manual tube to the seat suspension with
the 2 R-clamps included in loose parts.
2. Install the seat belt to each side of the seat with a
bolt and lock washer, supplied in loose parts. Make
sure the seat belt retractor is attached to the left side
of the seat.
Important: Make sure that the seat switch wire
is connected to the seat switch connector on the
harness.
3. Slide the seat completely forward and backward to
ensure proper operation and that seat switch wires
and connectors are not pinched or do no contact any
moving parts.

Greasing the Machine

No Parts Required
Procedure
Before the machine is operated, it must be greased
to ensure proper lubricating characteristics; refer to
Greasing the Bearings and Bushings procedure of
Lubrication , page 32. Failure to properly grease the
machine will result in premature failure of critical parts.

Replacing the Warning Decal

Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Warning Decal
Procedure
On machines used outside of the U.S.A., replace the
warning decal, part no. 112–9118 with the warning decal
part no. 106–6752.
