Problem
The device ID does not ap-
pear under "Setting" in the
"CardioExpert" app.

9. Maintenance and cleaning

• Clean the main unit, ECG stick and cuff carefully using a slightly damp cloth only.
• Do not use any corrosive cleaning agents or solvents.
• If the electrode surfaces of the ECG stick are dirty, clean them with a cotton bud soaked in rub-
bing alcohol.
• When you are not using the ECG stick, disconnect it from the main unit.
• Under no circumstances should you hold the main unit, ECG stick or cuff under water, as this can
cause liquid to enter and damage the device internally.
• No heavy objects should be placed on top of the device when in storage. Remove the batteries. The
cuff line should not be bent sharply.

10. Disposal

Empty, completely flat batteries must be disposed of through specially designated collection boxes,
recycling points or electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of the batteries.
The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful substances:
Pb = Battery contains lead,
Cd = Battery contains cadmium,
Hg = Battery contains mercury.
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the
end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point.
Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities re-
sponsible for waste disposal.
