The sensitive ferrite care antenna inside the set will provide excellent AM/LM reception in most
areas. For optimum reception, you can change the direction of the radio due to directional ferrite
care antenna.

RADIO MAINTENANCE

1. If the set is not used for a long time, remove all the batteries to prevent potential damage due to
possible battery leakage;
2. The product should be situated away from heat sources or moisture. Never spill any liquid,
especially chemical solvents on the product;
3. Since a strong magnet is used in the loudspeaker, keep its magnetism recorded tapes, watches,
etc., otherwise they may be damaged by its magnetism;
4. Do not drop or give the set a strong impact since it is composed of precise parts;
5. When listening in a train or building, use the radio near a window for optimum reception. How
ever, which may be difficult in a tunnel or a subway. Also note that operating the radio on metal
objects may adversely affect its reception;
6. Do not use any benzene thinner or abrasive powder to clean the cabinet, and please wipe it
with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap water solution;
7. Avoid spray-type insecticides, as some of them contain chemicals that could corrode the cabi-
net.
