Change your NFC settings
You can customize the NFC experience on your device by changing your NFC settings. You can set up your device to display
a prompt before it receives a file using NFC. You can also set up when your device can complete an NFC card transaction,
such as making a payment using a payment app.
1.
Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.

Tap
> More > NFC.
3.
If necessary, turn on the Turn on NFC switch.
4.
Do any of the following:
To receive a prompt before your device receives a file using NFC, turn on the Prompt before receiving switch.
To allow NFC card transactions when the backlight is off, turn on the Allow when screen is off switch.
To allow NFC card transactions that are handled by your SIM card when your device is turned off, turn on the
Allow when device power is off switch.
Share content using Android

Beam to exchange different types of files, including photos, videos, webpages, and other content
from your device with another NFC-enabled device.

On your device, open a screen that contains something you would like to share, such as a webpage, a YouTube video,
or a contact.

Do one of the following:

About tap and pay
The tap and pay feature is available on your device when NFC is turned on. If you have a payment app installed on your
device, you can tap the back of your device to an NFC payment terminal to pay for your purchase.
If you have more than one payment app installed on your device, you should set one of the apps as your default payment
app. When you tap to pay for a purchase, the default app is used unless you have set up the tap and pay feature to use
whichever payment app is open in the foreground at the time of purchase.
