If the thermostat is turned on but the heating is not on
check all the circuit breakers, including the time switch,
as well as the RCD. If these all seem to be in order,
consult an authorised electrician and show them the
following chart.

Reserved for the electrician!
1. Ensure that all the terminal connections are tight and
check the voltage when the thermostat is activated.
2. Measure the Floor Sensor with an ohmmeter. It should
give a certain resistance value in relation to the sensor's
environment temperature (eg surrounding concrete) - see
"Sensing Values" in the technical data chart.
3. Check the Floor Sensor. If the sensor wires, 6 & 7, are
removed, the indicator should turn RED and the
thermostat should switch ON. If not the thermostat is
faulty.
4. Check the Floor Sensor. If the sensor wires, 6 & 7, are
short circuited, the indicator should turn GREEN and the
thermostat should switch OFF. If not the thermostat is
faulty.
4. Test the Heating Cable. Check the installed wattage by
measuring the voltage and the resistance and using them
to calculate the output:
KW = V
= 57.6 (at 240 V~)
From the calculated output the heating cable type can be
determined by looking it up in your DEVI catalogue.
