Connection of gauge manifold
1) Connect the charging hoses (low
pressure side) for the gauge manifold to
the tube fitting.
NOTE:Connect the hoses using care not to
mistake the high pressure side for
the low pressure side and vice versa.
2) Connect the charging hose at the center
of the gauge manifold to the vacuum
pump.
Evacuation
1) Open the high pressure valve (LOW) of
the gauge manifold.
2) Turn on the vacuum pump to start
evacuation.(Evacuate the system for
approximately 30 min.)
3) When the low pressure gauge indicates
30 inHg(100 kPa), turn off the vacuum
pump and close the Low pressure valves
of the gauge manifold.
4) Leave the high pressure valve and the lowpressure valve of the gauge manifold
closed for five min or more, and confirm that the gauge pointer does not return
to zero.
