The following settings are possible:
OFF: Keep the surround signal, i.e. no downmix
Stereo: Convert surround signal to stereo signal
Lt/Rt: Mix surround signal for rear speakers into the signal for
the front speakers

Downmix function (Chicago IVDM-7003)

The downmix function on the remote control is used to control
the downmix mode for the loudspeaker/preamp outputs. If the
downmix mode is activated using the DOWNMIX button on the
remote control, this will have the same effect as deactivating
("NONE" or "NO" setting) the centre loudspeaker and subwoofer
in the audio setup's "Speaker Setup" submenu.
Since the Chicago IVDM-7003 is equipped with a second digital
signal processor (DSP), the downmix function is always activat-
ed for the audio outputs of VIDEO 1 OUT and VIDEO 2 OUT.
Irrespective of this, the downmix function for the loudspeaker and
preamp outputs can be set by activating/deactivating the centre
loudspeaker and subwoofer. As a result, the "DownMIX" menu
item in the audio setup's "Audio Effect Control" submenu is not
applicable and will not be displayed.
