If you have activated this function, when
you get a call you can simply lift the
handset out of the charger without having
to press the talk key c.

Changing the ringer tone

Volume:
You can choose five volume levels
(1–5; e.g. volume 2 = ˆ) and
'Crescendo' call (6; the volume
increases with each ring =

Ringer tones:
You can choose any sound from the File
Manager. Melodies 1–3 are the
"classical ringer tones".
You can choose different ringer tones for
the following functions:

Ext. Calls: For external calls

Internal Calls: For internal calls
u
Appointments: For set appointments

Alarm: For a pre-set wake-up call (p. 50)

All: The same for all functions
Settings for external calls and
time control
Set the volume and melody depending on
the type of ringing. You can also set the
volume of a call to be dependent on the
time it is received (e.g., nights quieter
than during the day).
