SECTION 2 – OPERATION
HST HI / LO SPEED CONTROL

The HST speed control switch (1) in Figure 2-31,
is located on left-hand side of the console. It has
two positions. The "Turtle" (Lo) position operates
the HST unit at below normal speed. The "rabbit"
(Hi) position operated the HST unit at above
normal speed. The Hi/Lo speed control can be
operated with both ranges of the transmission.

HST CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH
The HST cruise control switch (1) in Figure 2-32,
is located on the right-hand side of the console. It
is used to maintain a constant forward or reverse
speed.
When the desired travel speed is reached,

depress the top half of the control switch. A green
light will illuminate inside the switch indicating the
speed control is engaged. To disengage the
speed control, depress the bottom half of the
switch or depress both brake pedals. The green
light will extinguish, indicating the speed control is
off.

CAUTION
To avoid personal injury and maintain
optimum control of the tractor, do not use the
cruise control at high speeds or when roading
the tractor.
