SECTION 2 – OPERATION

PTO SPEED SHIFT LEVER

The PTO speed shift lever (2) in Figure 2-35, is
located by the left-hand fender. It has two PTO

speed positions. Always "Disengaged" position
the PTO clutch control lever and bring the PTO
drive to a complete stop before moving the PTO
speed shift lever.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to change PTO
speed shift lever while the PTO is moving. The
PTO speed shift gear is non-synchronized. The
PTO clutch control lever must be disengaged
positioned and the PTO motion stopped to
change gear ratios with the PTO speed shift

MID PTO CONTROL LEVER

The MID PTO control lever (3) in Figure 2-36 is
located by the left-hand fender. To engage the
MID PTO, pull the lever fully upward. To

disengage the MID-PTO, push the lever fully
downward.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to change MID
PTO control lever while the MID PTO is moving.
The MID PTO shift gear is non-synchronized. The
PTO clutch control lever must be disengaged
positioned and the MID PTO motion stopped to
change gear ratios with the MID PTO control
lever.

PTO SHIELD AND CAP

The PTO shield (1) in Figure 2-37, is standard

equipment. The shield is to be used with all PTO
equipment. The PTO cap (2) in Figure 2-37,
should always be installed when the PTO is not in
use.
NOTE: Cycle the PTO drive shaft through the
entire lift travel and check for any interference
with PTO shield. If interference is present, adjust
the height of lift travel as needed.
