DIFFERENTIAL CONTROL

DIFFERENTIAL LOCK PEDAL
The differential lock pedal is located on the
right-hand foot platform on 9 × 3 model and
left-hand foot platform on HST model. The differen-
tial lock is used to obtain additional traction in wet
or loose soil.
When the differential lock pedal is depressed, both
final drive pinion gear shafts are locked together,
preventing one wheel from rotating independently
of the other. Whenever one wheel begins to slip in
wet or loose soil. use the lock to obtain additional
traction from the opposite wheel.
