CONTROLS, INSTRUMENTS AND OPERATIONS
H.S.T. Cruise Control
The H.S.T. Cruise Control switch is located on the
right-hand side of the console and is used to re-
main a constant forward speed, Figure 24.
NOTE: Cruise control will not function in the re-
verse direction.
When the desired travel speed is reached, depress
the top half of the control switch to lock the hydro-
static rocker pedal. A green light will illuminate in-
side the switch indicating the cruise control is en-
gaged. To disengage cruise control, depress the
bottom half of the switch or depress the brake
pedal. The green light will extinguish, indicating
cruise control is off and the hydrostatic rocker
pedal will return to neutral.
WARNING: : : : To avoid personal injury
and maintain optimum control of the
tractor, do not use the cruise control at
high speeds or when roading the trac-
tor.

CLUTCH PEDAL

The foot-operated clutch pedal, Figure 25, must be
completely depressed to stop forward travel and
PTO shaft rotation.
Always fully depress the pedal when changing gear
ratios or engaging four-wheel drive.
MPORTANT: : : : Avoid using the clutch pedal as a
"footrest"(riding the clutch). Prolonged operation
in this manner can cause damage to the clutch
components.

To change from one gear ratio to another, or to
change ranges :
1. Depress the clutch pedal completely.
2. Bring the tractor to a complete stop.
3. Shift to the desired gear and/or range.

DIFFERENTIAL CONTROL

DIFFERENTIAL LOCK PEDAL
The differential lock pedal is shown in Figure 26.
Depressing the pedal locks the rear axle shafts
together, providing additional traction in wet or
loose soil.
