WARNING
• The towing hook should be used only for temporary and short-
10
distance recovery or towing in an emergency situation. Avoid
using it all the time. Misusing can have serious consequences.
11
• Special cares should be taken when towing. Avoid an abrupt
start-off or reckless driving because it could over-tighten the
12
towing hook, towing rope or chain with excessive force. To pre-
vent damage, do not take up slack in the towing rope or chain
13
too quickly.
• If the towing hook is required for towing as the vehicle becomes
14
stuck in snow, mud or sand or it can't get out by itself due to
poor traction, make sure no excessive force is applied to the
15
towing hook. Otherwise, the towing hook, towing rope or chain
may be broken, resulting in an injury or damage to the vehicle.
16
For safe towing, it is recommended to contact Ssangyong au-
thorized serviceshop or a professional towing company.
