Exit: After making changes to the programming options listed below:
1) Rotate the SIZE dial (#1 above) all the way
counter-clockwise until "EXIT" appears on the
display.
2) Press the MODE button (#2 above) to exit and
return to normal operation.
Screen Messages (on/off): If Screen Messages are set to OFF, the
Merlin BASIC will not display magnification sizes or viewing modes.
From factory default, Screen Messages are set to "ON"
Black & White Mode (on/off): If Black & White Mode is set to OFF,
the Merlin BASIC will skip the availability of the Black & White Color
Modes. From factory default, Black & White Mode is set to "ON"
Color Select (on/off): If Color Select is set to OFF, the Merlin BASIC will
skip the availability of the Color Select Modes. From factory default, Color
Select Mode is set to "ON"
Color Select: If this option is selected, up to 5 different color select
modes can be programmed, from a choice of 28 different color
combinations (see pages 14-16)
RSVD: In the interest of continuous product improvement, these options
are reserved by the manufacturer for future programming and cannot be
modified at this time.
