CONVERTING
CONVERTING FROM THE STANDARD
POSITION TO THE REVERSED POSITION OR
VICE VERSA-MINI TILT
WARNING
The seat depth and back angle of the wheelchair, as
well as the large wheel position directly relate to the
stability of the wheelchair. Any change to one (1) or
any combination of the three (3) may cause the
wheelchair to decrease in stability. Use EXTREME
caution when using a new seating position for the
first time.
When in the standard or reversed positions, NEVER
use the front five (5) mounting positions on the short
wheelchair frame for the back canes (PROCEDURE
3).
When in the standard or reversed positions, NEVER
use the front (6) mounting positons on the long
wheelchair frame for the back canes (PROCEDURE
3).
Using the above mounting positions directly
affect the center of gravity of the Comet and will
cause the Comet to become unstable.
