FRONT RIGGINGS
2. Install two (2) socket screws and loosely tighten.
3. Repeat STEPS 1-2 for the opposite side of the wheel-
chair.
4. Slide the footboard support tubes into the half clamps
to the desired height.
5. Securely tighten the two (2) socket screws that se-
cure the footboard support tubes to the wheelchair
frame.
6. Adjust the one-piece footboard. Refer to ADJUST-
ING THE ONE-PIECE FOOTBOARD in this section
of the manual.
ADJUSTING/INSTALLING THE ARTICULATING
FOOTPLATES (FIGURE 2)
WARNING
When determining the angle, depth or height of the
articulating footplates when the wheelchair is in the
standard position, make sure the backs of the ar-
ticulating footplates DO NOT interfere with the move-
ment of casters.
NOTE: The articulating footplates can mount onto
the standard or reversed positions of the wheelchair.
Adjusting
ARTICULATING FOOTPLATE ANGLE.
1. Loosen, but do not remove the two (2) flat screws
and locknuts that secure the articulating footplate to
the footplate clamp.
2. Position the articulating footplate to the necessary
angle to accommodate the user.
NOTE: The positioning of each articulating footplate
may vary depending on the needs of the user.
3. Securely tighten the two (2) flat screws and locknuts
that secure the articulating footplate to the footplate
support tube.
4. Repeat STEPS 1-3 for the opposite footplate, if nec-
essary.
ARTICULATING FOOTPLATE DEPTH.
1. Remove the two (2) flat screws and locknuts that
secure articulating footplate to the footplate clamp.
NOTE: Observe the angle of the articulating footplate
for reinstallation.
2. Move the articulating footplate to one (1) of four
(4) mounting positions.

NOTE: Installation shown on standard position only
for clarity. Installation procedure is the same for the
reversed position.

NOTE: If desired depth is still not obtained, rotate
the half clamp on the footplate support tube 180
3. Reinstall and retighten the two (2) flat screws and
locknuts.
NOTE: The settings for positioning the articulat-
ing footplates on the half-clamps may vary for each
footplate.
Installing
1. Position an open hole half clamp and a threaded
hole half clamp approximately 3-inches from the
bottom of the wheelchair frame. Make sure the
threaded hole half clamp is on the inside of the
wheelchair frame.
2. Install two (2) socket screws and loosely tighten.
3. Repeat STEPS 1-2 for the opposite side of the
wheelchair.
4. Slide the footplate support tubes into the half
clamps to the desired height.
NOTE: The height of each footplate support tube
may vary depending on the need of the user.
5. Securely tighten the socket screws.
