Step 3: Make the Port Settings for the Software RIP

Here you set the output destination port for the software RIP. For the output destination, use the setting for the IP address
made on the machine. For information about how to make the settings, refer to the documentation for the software RIP.
You can check whether the connection to the network has been made by using the printing-test feature in the software RIP
you're using. For information about how to carry out a printing test, refer to the documentation for the software RIP.
