10. Synchronising software and weather station time.
The software obtains the weather data history from the weather station and synchronises it with
the actual time. It is therefore important that both the computer where the software is installed and
the weather station times are identical so that no data is lost or written over because of time differences
between the weather station and the computer.
Note: If the weather station's data history has been erased, then all data since the last upload will be
permanently lost.
Such a problem could be caused by the weather station's log time not exactly matching the computer's time.
All data is saved without time log entries in order to reduce the amount of memory capacity being used
by the weather station. Once all data has been saved and transferred onto the computer a time log will
then be added to this data. This time log is controlled by the computer's clock.
It is therefore vital that the computer clock and the weather station clock are synchronised and identical.

11. Care and maintenance

• Use a soft damp cloth to wipe off the indoor unit. Never use solvents or strong cleaning agents.
• Always remove the batteries from both the indoor and outdoor unit when they are not anticipated to
be used for a long time.

12. Troubleshooting

How much memory is currently available?
• The memory symbol at the bottom right hand corner of the display will show the amount of internal
memory capacity that is used.
• The memory has a 4080-reading capacity which is displayed by the memory symbol's 36 segments.
• Please note that the memory symbol only gives you a graphical representation of internal memory
capacity, and is therefore not entirely accurate.
• One symbol segment does not exactly represent 113 readings (4080/36), it is more of a general
guideline as to the memory capacity that is still available.
• Once memory has reached full capacity, all the oldest readings will be overwritten by the most recently
recorded readings.
The readings in the "EasyWeatherScope" program
cannot be directly reset
In order to reset these readings, the max/min readings on the weather station itself must first be erased. Any
new max/min readings will then be transferred to the program during the next data transfer.
This procedure is accomplished as follows:
1. To erase the weather data history, press the memory symbol. "CLEAR" will then appear on the display.
2. Press and hold this symbol for approximately 3 seconds to clear the memory. The memory symbol
should then show empty.
13. Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.
