Switching off the pump overrun
Switch off the unit. Press the „up" and „down" buttons when
switching the unit back on, until the self-test is finished. A „-
0-" will appear on the display. Release the buttons.
For operation with the soldering bit:
When using a WMP soldering iron, the WPHT switching hol-
der is recommended for lowering the temperature. On first
heat-up, treat the selectively tinnable solder tip with solder.
This will remove any layers of storage-related oxidation coa-
tings on the solder tip and any impurities in it. During breaks
in soldering and before the solder bit is parked, always ensu-
re that the solder tip is well tinned. Do not use any flux
agents that are too aggressive.
Caution: Never operate the soldering bit without a tip,
otherwise the heating elements and temperature sen-
sors will be damaged.
General information:
Two foot switch connections are located on the rear side
of the device. Foot switch 1 is assigned to channel 1; foot
switch 3 is assigned to channel 3. The function of the
foot switch corresponds to the finger switch function of
the inserted tool.
When the hot air and vacuum functions are both activa-
ted at the same time, the channels used have priority in
order from channel 1 to channel 3.
The soldering units were set for a medium-sized solde-
ring tip, or nozzle. Deviations may occur through nozzle
changing or through the use of other kinds of tips.
If the connected soldering units exceed the total output
of 310 W, channel 3 cuts out automatically.
