Check the safety switch connector
The safety switch assembly, which includes the thermal switch and lamp door interlock switch, must be a
closed circuit for the power supply to work properly. If this circuit is not closed, the projector starts up and
then stops running.
The safety switch assembly attaches to the power supply via the safety switch cable. On one end, the
cable plugs into the power supply, and on the other end, the cable plugs into an inline connector on the
safety switch assembly.
To check the inline connector, remove the top case (see page 19).
To check the other end of the cable, remove the chassis and power supply (page 39).
