Conversion from NG to LP

THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER
LP Conversion Kit Contains:

Installation of LP Conversion Kit:
1. Turn the unit off and allow it to cool to
room temperature.
2. Shut off gas supply and disconnect
power.
3. Remove safety screen and glass door
(see Door Glass Replacement section in
the manual).
4. Remove logs and brick panels (if
installed).
5.
Remove the Grate by removing the
screws on each side of the grate.
Remove the 2 screws holding
the grate in position.
6. Remove the Burner Tray by removing 1
screw on each side of the tray, then slide
the tray to the left and lift out.
Remove the 2 screws,
push Burner Tray to the left, and lift off.

for E21-10 using SIT 829 NOVA Gas Valve
IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!

Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot
orifice.
8. Unscrew the pilot orifice with the allen
key (provided) and replace with the LP
pilot orifice in the kit.

Remove burner orifice with 1/2" wrench.
Use another wrench to hold onto the
elbow behind the orifice. Replace with the
#54 orifice in the Kit.

10. Remove NG stepper motor by removing
3 screws in locations shown below–re-
place with LP stepper motor, secure in
place with 3 screws.
