despite full water tank

Check whether the water tank 8 is calcified.
If required, descale water tank 8.
S
The appliance is not detecting the water
level. Condensation may be forming on the
tank wall, then fill up the water tank. If the
water tank 8 is scratched or if there are air
bubbles in the tank, rotate the tank slightly.
If the message is still displayed, please order
a new tank.
Water is dripping or running out of the
steam pipe 10
S
Put the hot water/steam lever 9 in the
upright position. If water continues dripping,
descale the appliance.

Risk of electric shock
Turn the mains switch 17 to 0 as soon as one
of the fault codes F1 to F10 lights up.
Fault Remedial action
code
F1, F2, Electrical malfunction.
F6, F7, Turn the mains switch 17 to 0 and
F9 after approx. 15 seconds turn back
to I.
F3, F4, Mechanical malfunction.
F5, F8 Turn the mains switch 17 to 0 and
do the following:
A capsule may have been left
connected near the brewing unit.
Remove and empty the capsule Remove and empty the capsule
container 15. Pull out the coffee
outlet 18 and the capsule support 19
forwards (Fig. 8). The capsule
should now be visible. Carefully push
back the capsule with a spoon.
When the capsule has been
removed, switch on the appliance d
again.
If the fault code is still lighting up,
turn the mains switch 17 to and after
approx. 5 seconds back to I
(if required, repeat).
F 10 Capsule support 19 missing or
incorrectly inserted.
Check whether the capsule support
19 is missing or insert correctly.
If the fault code lights up again when the
i
appliance has been switched on, call the
Hotline.
