• • • • Zoom setting (ZOOM)
When a device such as a door switch is connected to the alarm
input terminal, this function lets you set a specific zoom ratio for
images that are captured at the instant the door is opened or
closed.

Select OPTION in the MAIN MENU and display the
OPTION screen.

Select SET for ALARM.
The ALARM SETTING screen will appear.

Move the cursor to ALM for ALARM IN, then use the
cursor button (d or c) to select ZOOM.
Note:
• When ZOOM is selected for ALARM IN, the MOTION setting
will be disabled. However, the MOTION setting (ON/OFF) of
VIEW SETTING 1 will not change.
• The zoom focuses on the center of the screen. If the
maximum optical performance is exceeded, zooming will stop
at maximum magnification.

Use the cursor button (j or l) to make the settings
given below, then move the cursor to BACK for MENU
and then press the SET button.
When an alarm is detected, the images will be zoomed
according to the setting conditions.
• POLARITY (example: select NC)
This sets the polarity when an alarm is input.
NO: Normal open (Normally open so closed condition is
detected as input.)
NC: Normal closed (Normally closed so open condition is
detected as input.)
• ZOOM (example: select x6 (x6 zoom ratio))
This sets the zoom ratio when an alarm is input.
Available settings: x1.4, x2, x2.8, x4, x6
• DURATION (example: select 15S (zoom display for 15
seconds))
This sets the duration of zoom display when an alarm is
input.
Available settings: 5S, 10S, 15S, 20S, 30S, 1M, 2M, 3M,
