Tap the setting value.
For "SHUTTER SPEED" and "APERTURE", to tap "MANUAL", select

the setting values by tapping 0/1, and the tap "SET".
Repeat step 5 to 6 to set other items.

Set the shooting dial to U, then start shooting.

Adjusting Focus Manually

Set this when the focus is not clear in Intelligent Auto or when manual
focusing is desired.
This function is available when the shooting dial is set to P, A, S, M, U or

SCN.

Press the AF/MF button.
Focus adjustment screen is displayed.

Adjust focus by using the focus ring.
If E appears blinking, focus cannot be set any further.

If p appears blinking, focus cannot be set any nearer.

Memo :
Focus remains stable if focus is set at the telephoto (T) end, and the zoom

is set to the wide angle end (W).
To resume Auto Focus (automatic adjustment)

Press the AF/MF button to erase E and p.
