Tap operation Safety - Boiling Models A safety lock feature is provided to pre- vent boiling water flowing if any of the hot levers are inadvertently operated. To dispense boiling water (With the Safety ON) Depress the Red lever, while simultaneously covering the safety lock button with a second finger.

Tap operation Safety - Boiling Ambient Models To activate the safety (From the tap): First place a finger on the safety lock, then depress the Blue lever, while keeping both fingers in position for a period of approximately ten seconds.The safety lock indicator light will now be illuminated.

Tap operation MixerTap Lifting the handle up will increase the flow rate and lowering the handle will decrease the flow rate. Lower the handle all the way down to turn the tap off. When the handle is moved towards the blue dot, the temperature is decreased and when moved towards the red dot, the temperature is increased.

In general, boiling water units may vent steam from the tap spout. Take care to avoid personal injury whenever this occurs. The Zip HydroTap is equipped with a self-calibrating program. On start up, the controls take the system through a calibration process. Once this mode is completed the system reverts back to normal operation.
