4 Replacement Procedures
4.11 MDC / modem cable
Removing the MDC / modem cable
The following describes the procedure for removing an MDC / modem cable. (See Figure
4-16 and 4-17.)
1. Remove the following screws securing the MDC.

2. Pull up the MDC straight and remove it from the connector CN3000 on the
system board.
3. Disconnect the modem cable from the connector of MDC.

4. Pull out the modem cable from the guide of mini PCI cover.
5. Remove the following screw and disconnect the drain cable 1 from the stud of
system board.
