5.7.1 Clean Brushes

Clean brushes of the brush head (Fig.
10/2) at daily intervals or as required.
1. Use pedal (Fig. 10/1) to lift out brush
head.
2. Press brush ejectors (Fig. 10/3)
down to remove brushes for cle-
aning.

5.7.2 Change Brushes

Check brushes of the brush head for
wearing at weekly intervals. Replace
brushes if bristles are worn down to a
length of 1.5 cm.
1. Use pedal (Fig. 10/1) to lift out brush
head.
2. Press brush ejectors (Fig. 10/3)
down to remove old brushes.
3. Push new brush under brush head
and use both hands to press it into
seating.

5.7.3 Change Deflector Roller

Check deflector roller (Fig. 10/4) at
weekly intervals or replace as required.

5.7.4 Change Sealing Strip

Check sealing strip (Fig. 10/5) at weekly
intervals or as required. Before doing
so, open toggle-type fastener and re-
move sealing strip. Proceed to moun-
ting in inverse order.
