Installing the Cellular Cassette

Insert the Cellular Cassette
A Cellular Cassette is an optional module that
attaches to your satellite phone to allow it to work
with land-based cellular systems.
1. Remove or rotate the satellite antenna
before installing the Cellular Cassette. (See
"Attaching the Satellite Antenna" on
page 26.)
2. Press and hold the release latch at the top
of the battery compartment cover.
3. Pull the cover upward, and then remove it
from the phone.
4. Insert the cellular cassette, bottom-end
first, into the compartment on top of the
battery.
5. Press the cassette downward until it clicks
into place.

6. Save the battery compartment cover for
future use.

Tip: The
phone
switches
between
satellite mode
and cellular
mode based
on your
preferences.

Tip: You
cannot use
the Ultra High
Capacity
battery when
the Cellular
Cassette is
installed.
