9 Relay contacts (option)

The relay contacts are part of the relay module (option) and can be used in order to
report the following door conditions to the main lift controller:
– X11
The door has reached the "CLOSE" position
The relay switches on, when the controller recognizes the "CLOSE" position and no more
impulses are spent by the pulse generator, i.e., the door has stopped. Pin 3 is connected
with pin 1 until the Door OPEN command is activated. The relay then immediately drops
and Pin 3 is again connected with pin 2.
– X12
The door reverses.
The relay switches on, if the door reverses e.g. due to a blockage, a light barrier
interruption or an open command.
Pin 1 is then connected with pin 3 until the "OPEN" position is reached
– X13
The door has reached the "OPEN" position
The relay switches on, if the current distance of the door to the "OPEN" position falls
below 2 cm. Pin 1 and pin 3 are then connected.
When the distance of 2 cm is again exceeded, the relay immediately drops and pin 3 is
again connected with pin 2.
In the "Overview of the control elements" the contacts are represented in a power-off
(inactive) condition.
The active condition is also indicated by an LED on the switched relay.
WARNING
The door controller is not a safety device. Therefore the relay contacts may not be used
for the lift's safety circuit.
With an opened housing cover only low voltage (voltage less than 42V) may be applied
to the controller!
When connecting higher voltages (max. 230V AC) to the relay module, these voltages
may only be turned on if the protective cap is closed and tightened with the mounting
screw.
In this case, the attached wiring must have double or reinforced insulation and only be
stripped directly at the terminal connectors.
The components of the controller and connection cables, as well as the motor plug and
its wiring, may only come into contact with the double or reinforced insulation of the live
wires.
Strain relief is provided by cable ties inside of the protective cap and at the attachment
locations of the housing.
