Service Test 142 - Freezer Thermistor Test. (See Thermistor Chart in Section 8.1.13).

When selected and activated, the refrigerator display will show the temperature reading in the freezer
compartment. This test will also indicate any failure in the freezer thermistor.
PASS RESULT – Displaying the Temperature inside Freezer
8.1.4.8 Service Test 143 - Ambient Thermistor Test. (See Thermistor Chart in Section
8.1.13).
When selected and activated, the refrigerator display will show the temperature reading in the
compressor compartment. This test will also indicate any failure in the ambient thermistor.
PASS RESULT — Displaying the Temperature inside Compressor Compartment
When selected, the refrigerator display will show the state of the refrigerator door.
FAIL RESULT - Thermistor is Open
FAIL RESULT - Thermistor is shorted
