Chapter 2 Radio Power

This chapter provides a detailed circuit description of the power distribution of an ASTRO APX 3000

In the ASTRO APX 3000 radio, power (B+) is distributed to the main board.

Power for the radio is provided through a battery supplying a nominal 7.5 Vdc directly to the

transceiver. The following battery types and capacities are available:

IMPRES Li-Ion Ultra-Slim Battery (1250mAHr)

IMPRES Li-Ion Slim Battery (1900mAHr)

IMPRES Li-Ion High Capacity Battery (FM, 2300mAHr)

IMPRES Li-Ion High Capacity Battery (2300mAHr)
