29. Trim the bottom sheeting from over the four alignment
slots in ribs W-3. The first slot is approximately 1" [25mm]
from the leading edge and the second one is approximately
5-5/8" [143mm] from the leading edge.
You can set the wing aside for now. We will install the
ailerons after we fit the two booms on the wing.
BUILD THE BOOMS & FINS

Assemble the Boom

1. Cover the boom plan with wax paper or Great Planes
Plan Protector.
2. Glue two of the die-cut 3-ply boom main frames
(1) together. Make sure the edges are aligned.
3. Glue two of the die-cut 3-ply elevator and rudder
servo trays together.
4. Glue two of the die-cut 1/8" [3mm] balsa fin frame
F1, F2 and F3 together to make 1/4" [6mm] thick parts.
