T he parallel port on your system has a 25-pin, DB25 connector and is used to interface with parallel
p rinters and other devices using a parallel interface.
The Serial Interface: COM1
The serial interface port is sometimes referred
co mmunication port. Mice, modems and other peripheral devices can be connected to a serial port.
Video Graphics Array Conn.: VGA
T he KM400A Series has built in video facilities. Your monitor attaches directly to the VGA
co nnector on this mainboard.

This mainboard supports Super 5.1 Channel Audio effects which turns
your standard Speaker Out, Lin In, Mic In audio connectors into a 6
channel audio system. See Appendix I for more information.
