MIDI MENU REFERENCE

12.4 The MIDI Menu

The MIDI menu is used to set parameters which determine the MIDI output of the MFC-101

12.4.0 Axe-Fx MIDI Channel

EDIT : MIDI
Axe-Fx Transmit Channel is used to set the channel on which the MFC-101 will transmit to an Axe-Fx. For AXE-FX MODE to
work properly, this setting must match that of the Axe-Fx under I/O : MIDI : MIDI CHANNEL

12.4.1 Axe-Fx Default Bank

EDIT : MIDI : PAGE
Axe-Fx Default Bank is used to select the range of Axe-Fx presets loaded by the MFC-101.
The default relationship between MFC-101 and Axe-Fx presets is 1:1 in bank A (001=001, 002=002, etc).
Changing the Default Bank setting "aims" the presets of the MFC-101 at an entirely different bank of Axe-Fx presets. A table of
Axe-Fx Preset numbers for each Default Bank value appears in the appendix on p. 68.
NOTE: The MFC-101 will always show its own preset numbers regardless of what is loaded on the Axe-Fx.
NOTE: Numeric entries in the Axe-Fx Preset Transmit Map (12.4.2, below) will override Default Bank settings!

12.4.2 Axe-Fx Preset Transmit Map

EDIT : MIDI : PAGE
The Axe-Fx Preset Transmit ("Tx") Map is used to set up a custom map between MFC-101 presets and Axe-Fx presets. This
makes it possible for any MFC-101 preset to load any of the 384 presets from a connected Axe-Fx.
Use the PARAMETER footswitches to select between MFC Preset and Axe-Fx Preset.
The value "DBK" indicates that the Axe-Fx will load the similarly numbered preset from the "Default Bank" (see above). A table
of Axe-Fx Preset numbers for each Default Bank appears in the appendix on p. 68.
