Situation
The engine is
overheated.
The engine power
is too weak.
Coolant warning
lamp is in during
operation.
Engine oil warning
lamp is on during
operation.
Thermostat lamp is
not turned on.
Battery warning
lamp is on during
operation.
Inspection item
Is the coolant lever low?
Is the fan belt slack or damaged?
Is the radiator fin clogged?
Is the engine oil lever low?
Is the engine running under too
much load?
Is the air cleaner clogged?
Is the nozzle stained with carbon?
Is the compression force weak?
Is the valve clearance adjusted
properly?
Is the injection timing bad?
Is the coolant level in the reservoir
low?
Is the engine oil level low?
Is the viscosity of the engine oil
low?
Is the pressure switch out of
order?
Is the oil pump out of order?
Is the fuse burnt our?
Is the regulator (current limit) out
of order?
Is the fan belt slack or damaged?

Solution
Refill the coolant.
Adjust or replace the fan belt.
Clean the radiator fin.
Refill the engine oil.
Reduce the load.
Inspect the air cleaner
Contact the dealer for repair
Refill the coolant
Refill the engine oil
Replace the engine oil with the one
with proper viscosity.
Replace the switch
Contact dealer for repair
Replace the fuse
Contact dealer for repair
Adjust or replace the fan belt
