4. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Situation
The headlamp will
not turn on.
The direction
indicator lamp will
not operate.
The lamps will not
turn on.
The horn does not
sound.
Inspection item
Is the bulb burnt out?
Is the fuse burnt out?
Is the cable separated from the
socket?
Is the bulb burnt out?
Is the fuse burnt out?
Is the flasher unit out of order?
Is the contact in bad condition?
Is the bulb burnt out?
Is the fuse burnt out?
Is the contact of the cable in bad
condition?
In the switch out of order?
Is the grounding in bad condition?
Is the battery discharged?
Is the fuse burnt out?
Is the horn switch contact in bad
condition?

Solution
Replace the bulb.
Replace the fuse.
Inspect cable.
Replace the bulb.
Replace the fuse.
Replace the flasher unit.
Inspect and clean the grounding
and terminals.
Replace the bulb.
Replace the fuse.
Inspect the cable and secure the
contact.
Replace the switch.
Connect the grounding
securely to the body.
Charge the battery.
Replace the fuse.
Inspect the horn switch.
