Burner Installation

If using logs/coals/granules on the burner (instead of pebbles or crystals) then it is possible to set up the media while the
burner is still out of the fire. Make sure the burner is sitting on a good stable platform and set up the media as per the
instructions on the following pages.
If the media is pebbles or crystals or you are not yet ready to set up the logs/coals then fit the burner back onto the gas
control.
There are two aeration sleeves that need to be fitted to the venturi tubes on the back of the burner. The length of the
sleeve will depend on the gas type being used. The burner should have the correct sleeves fitted to it when delivered
and if a conversion kit has been supplied then a set of replacement sleeves should be in the kit.

Place the burner onto the support rails on the gas control and each end of the firebox. Carefully slide the burner back
until the two small lances on the underside of the burner drop into the long slots on the burner rails and then push
back until it is fully seated over the injectors and the tabs on the front of the burner are hard against the rails and fix in
place.
Re-attach the pilot shield.
If not already in place, go to the section on setting up the burner media.
