Framing Notes

The flue and firebox must be installed before the wall can be lined.
The framing must be self supporting and not place any load on the firebox.
The framing shown is indicative only is not intended to illustrate the construction method.
The installation shows one flue option (using the optional Y-Piece) but does not represent a complete
system.
The fire should be installed on a solid platform.
Gas and power supply must enter through the left hand end of the firebox.
Refer to the next section for notes on external wall installation.
When firebox installation is complete, fit cardboard to the front flange of the fire (both sides) to prevent
any dust, paint, etc. from subsequent construction drawing into the firebox or marking the glass.
