I have a new fisher panda marine generator PMS12. The control panel has one small green lite but nothing else. cannot start

If the Fischer Panda 12 mini PMS Digital generator control panel only shows a small green light and will not start, one possible issue could be that the fuel solenoid valve is not open or the fuel line is not properly primed. The manual mentions that if the unit doesn't start, the pipe union nut may need to be unscrewed to allow air to escape, then the unit restarted. Mode of Operation of the Generator Oil pressure switch In order to be able to monitore the lubrica- ting oil system, an oil pressure switch is built into the system. The oil pressure switch is on the back of the engine (below the oil filter).

Generator Failure C.3.5 VCS By-Pass Facility If there is a problem in the VCS which cannot be cured (e.g. awaiting parts), the generator can be run safely and normally with the VCS generator output monitor disconnected. Generator Failure C.4 Low Generator-Output Voltage If the produced alternating voltage is too low, switch the load off, in order to relieve the generator. Mostly the problem already solved. If the output voltage is still too low, even if all load is switched off, the generator runs without load, you can assume one or more condensers are defective.

Be sure that the coolant/antifreeze mixture is good for at least -15°C (5°F) and if it is possible that your genset experiences lower temperatures, for example during storage or trans- portation, then the entire cooling system should be drained and purged.

I have a new fisher panda marine generator PMS12. The control panel has one small green lite but nothing else. cannot start
