I have a new fisher panda marine generator PMS12. The control panel has one small green lite but nothing else. cannot start

If the Fischer Panda 12 mini PMS Digital generator control panel only shows a small green light and will not start, one possible issue could be that the fuel solenoid valve is not open or the fuel line is not properly primed. The manual mentions that if the unit doesn't start, the pipe union nut may need to be unscrewed to allow air to escape, then the unit restarted. Once started, the pipe union nut should be tightened again. This suggests that air in the fuel line or a closed solenoid valve could prevent the generator from starting.

Installation Instruction D.10 Voltage controller With a engine-operated generator set count always on the fact that through disturbances at the controlling of the diesel engine the control of the number of revolutions monitoring is lost. In this case the diesel engine could wind up without limitation and produce a voltage, which becomes substantially larger than the electrical load can process.
