securely, if radiator hoses are swollen,
hardened or cracked.

◆ Precaution at Overheating
Take the following actions in the event the coolant
temperature is close to or more than the boiling
point, which is called "Overheating".
1.
Stop the vehicle operation in a safe place and
keep the engine unloaded idling.
Don't stop the engine suddenly, but stop it

after about 5 minutes of unloaded idling.
3.
Keep yourself well away from the vehicle for at
least 10 minutes or while the steam is blowing
out.
4.
Check to see if there is no danger such as
burning, get rid of the causes of overheating
according
to
the
section of the manual, and then start the
engine again.
■ Checking Intake Air Line
1.
Check to see if the hoses and hose clamps
are tight and not damaged.
2.
If hoses and clamps are found to be worn or
damaged, replace or repair them at once.

■ Checking Tire
1.
Check to see if the tires are damaged.
2.
If the tires are cracked, bulged, or cut, or they
are worn out, replace or repair them at once.
◆ Tire Tread Depth
Always replace the tires when the tread depth is
worn to minimum allowable.

EVERY 400 HOURS

■ Changing Transmission Fluid
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
Park the vehicle on a flat surface, raise the
cargo bed, mount the safety support.
Allow engine to cool down sufficiently, oil
can be hot and can burn.
