Valve Side Privacy Panel
Removal and Installation
Included with your Waitsfield stove are two
rectangular metal valve side privacy panels. These
panels are designed to cover the valve and control
system mount from side views. Once installed, it is
necessary to remove these panels for most service
relating to the valve and control systems mounted
beneath the stove. These panels are not required
for safe stove operation, but are provided as a
cosmetic convenience.
Installation:
1) Remove the front valve access panel and set
aside.
2) From a prone position to either side of the stove,
look under the stove and up behind the side
casting bottom skirt for two square hanging
holes.
3) Position the privacy panel so the bump out tabs
is facing the valve (toward the center of the
stove).

4) Position the side privacy panel such that the
hanging tabs are aligned with the mounting tabs.
5) Push the mounting tabs through the mounting
holes and lower the privacy panel until the tab
hang over the bottom edge of the holes.
6) Reinstall the front valve access panel. The side
privacy panels should be on the inside of the
valve access panel's side wings when the
system is properly installed.
