Hearthstone Quality Home Heating Products, Inc ECLIPSE Series 8901 Installation Requirements Several issues must be addressed when selecting a suitable location for your ECLIPSE fireplace. The minimum clearances to combustible construction are listed below. In addition, access to the gas supply must be considered. - Page 7 Hearthstone Quality Home Heating Products, Inc ECLIPSE Series 8901 The gas fireplace is shipped with a 3/8” tube OD (male) connection. The gas supply piping should have a separate gas shutoff valve and a 1/8” NPT plugged tapping upstream of the valve. The stove and its main control valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of that system at test pressures in excess of 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).

- Page 17 Hearthstone Quality Home Heating Products, Inc ECLIPSE Series 8901 MOUNTING THE ECLIPSE TO THE WALL All installations require that the Eclipse be securely fastened to the wall. Each Eclipse is packed with a wall mounting bracket. Using the slots on the bracket, locate a stud in the wall and mount the bracket to the wall. Slide the body of the Eclipse into the wall bracket and install the two screws that anchor the stove body to the wall bracket.

Stove may be vented vertically with the addition of a 90° elbow segment. Prior to connecting your vent system to the stove, please refer to the venting section beginning on page 8 of this manual to determine whether your installation will require the addition of flow restrictors to the combustion air inlet system or the exhaust outlet or both.
