Sensor Roller Cleaning

1. Open the Front door.
2. Clean the Sensor Roller with cleaning paper (KV-SS03), as shown in Fig. 7-3.
Note:
If the Sensor Roller is removed while cleaning, re-attach it after cleaning as follows.
7.4.1. Re-attachment of the Sensor Roller Assembly
When the Sensor Roller is removed for cleaning the inside of the scanner, reattach it as shown below.
Lower Sensor Roller:
1. Attach the roller by placing the gear side to the left side of the scanner and inserting both side's bearings into the guide
grooves.
Note:
After attaching, press down on top of the Sensor Roller with your finger to confirm if it moves or not.
Upper Sensor Roller:
1. Attach the roller by inserting the bearing of the gear side of the roller into the guide groove on the left side of the scanner.
Note:
Match the flat side of the bearing with the flat side of the guide groove.
2. Hold the shaft on the right side of the Sensor Roller, push the tip of the gear, and slide the Sensor Roller in the direction of
the arrow .
3. Attach the roller by inserting the bearing for the non-gears side of the roller into the guide groove on the right side of the
scanner.
Note:
Match the flat side of the bearing with the flat side of the guide groove.
