AIRLESS DUAL TIP

The airless dual tip has been specially developed for process-
ing NespriTec facade paint.
Due its special design it is to be handled with
more care that the usual Airless tips.
Always mount the tip until the stop of the plastic grip in the
tip carrier.
Always align the tip correctly to the carrier in the spraying di-
rection by means of the arrow in the plastic grip.
10.1

CLEANING THE AIRLESS DUAL TIP

The tip can be turned by 180° in order to spray out any block-
age. Particular care has to be taken in aligning the tip here be-
cause leaks can otherwise result.
When spraying out the tip only trigger the gun very briefly,
while pointing it into an open container or at something that
can hold a large amount of material securely.
Rinse the tip with water.
Only use aggressive solvents briefly. The
tip will otherwise start leaking and can no
longer be used.
If compressed air is available. blow out the tip cores individu-
ally. In case of persistent blockages use a sharp wooden stick
(toothpick) to remove residues carefully.
The hard metal insert of the tip cores is brittle. Therefore never
throw the tip or use sharp metal objects on it.

GENERAL SERVICING

In accordance with the guidelines for liquid
jets (spraying units) of the German industrial
employer's liability insurance association
(Berufsgenossenschaft) an annual expert
check has to be carried out - including proof
of the check.
You can servicing of the unit carried out by
the Wagner Service. Favourable conditions
can be agreed with a service agreement and/
or maintenance packages.
Minimum check before every startup:
1. Check the high-pressure hose, spray gun, hose drum rota-
ry joint, unit connecting cable, plug and socket, connect-
ing cable of the hose drum and the power supply cable for
damage .
2. Check whether the manometer can be read.
Check at periodical intervals:
1. Check inlet valve, outlet valve, pressure relief valve and
high-pressure filter for wear. Clean or replace if necessary.
2. Clean all filters (spray gun, high-pressure filter, suction
tube) and replace them if necessary..
11.2

HIGH-PRESSURE HOSE

Inspect the high-pressure hose visually for any notches or
bulges, in particular at the transition in the fittings. It must be
possible to turn the union nuts freely. A conductivity of less
than
1 MΩ must exist across the entire length.
Carry out a high-voltage test on the resistance wire in the high-
pressure hose using 1000 V DC. Special measuring equipment
is required to this purpose.
Have the electric tests carried by the Wagner
Service.
The risk of damage rises with the age of the
high-pressure hose.
Wagner recommends replacing high-pressu-
re hoses after 6 years.
