DC Operation
NOTICE:
The DC socket can only be used for charging a 12V battery
1. Connecting the battery charging wires
a) Connect the battery charging cable to the battery
WARNING
Batteries produce explosive gases. Keep sparks, flames,
and cigarettes away from the battery. Provide adequate
ventilation when charging or using batteries. Battery
posts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead
components. Wash hands after handling
b) Plug the charging wires into the DC receptacle of the genera-
tor.
c) Connect the positive (red) terminal of the charging wire to the
positive (+) battery terminal and negative (black) terminal of the
charging wire to the negative (-) battery terminal
2. Press the engine switch to the ON position
3. Press the DC Reset switch to the ON position (Refer to Fig. 4.6)
4. Start the generator

4.3: STOPPING THE GENERATOR SET

1. Turn off all the connected devices
2. Allow the generator set to run for a few minutes to cool down.
3. Stop the generator set by pressing the ON/OFF switch to the
OFF position until the generator set stops.
4. Rotate the fuel valve back to the OFF position (horizontal posi-
tion)
