4. SOUND
The oven offers a choice of Simple Beep, Melody or No Sound. The oven comes set for Melody. If you wish
to change this, touch your choice on the screen and press the INSTANT COOK/START pad. The selected
sound does not change even if the electrical power supply is interrupted. Note that even when No Sound is
chosen, there will be a sound for the Kitchen Timer, if it was set.
END OF COOKING REMINDER:
This is an audible signal that reminds you when cooking, defrosting or reheating has finished.The sound
will repeat every 2 minutes and continue for 6 minutes unless you press the STOP/CLEAR pad or open the
door. To set the Reminder, touch ON on the END OF COOKING REMINDER screen. If you do not need the
Reminder, touch OFF. The selected setting will not change even if the electrical power supply is interrupted.
There is no reminder function if you choose No Sound.
5. DEMO MODE
Demo Mode has 2 choices "Manual Demo" and "Automatic Demo". To demonstrate, press the SET UP pad,
touch DEMO MODE, and then touch desired demonstration mode.
MANUAL DEMO:
Manual Demo is mainly for use by retail outlets, and also allows you to practice operations. Under the
Manual Demo mode, cooking operations can be demonstrated with no power in the oven. When you select
Manual Demo, the touch screen will show the home page. And if you start any cooking, the cooking time
will be counted down to zero at ten times the speed. To cancel the Manual Demo, press the SET UP pad,
and then touch DEMO MODE, MANUAL DEMO and DEMO OFF.
AUTOMATIC DEMO:
Automatic Demo summarises the features of this oven. To cancel the Automatic Demo, touch STOP on the
screen when the oven require to select "Continue" or "Stop" for a demonstration. You can also stop the
Automatic Demo by pressing the STOP/CLEAR pad.
6. SCREEN CONTRAST
Normally there is no need to change the display contrast; however, should you wish to do so, press the
SET UP pad, touch CONTRAST, and then touch LIGHTER or DARKER until the contrast is as desired.
Then press the INSTANT COOK/STARTpad. Take care when touching Lighter, ensuring that the display is
always readable. The selected contrast will not change even if the electrical power supply is interrupted.
Less/More Setting
The cooking time programmed into the automatic menus are tailored to the most popular tastes. To adjust
the cooking time to your individual preference use the "less" or "more" feature to either reduce (less) or add
(more) cooking time.
The LESS/MORE setting can be used to adjust the cooking time of the following features.
- SENSOR INSTANT REHEAT
- QUICK AND EASY
- EXPRESS DEFROST
* Suppose you want to cook 1.0 kg of Chicken Breasts for more time than standard setting.
1. Press the POULTRY pad in
QUICK AND EASY on the
control panel.
Then touch the desired
menu: CHICKEN BREASTS.
Once you have selected either LESS or MORE, it cannot be changed.
Choosing LESS or MORE must be done within 7 seconds from the beginning of the cooking.

2. Enter desired weight by
touching the screen. Then
press the INSTANT COOK/
START pad.

3. The display will count down
through cooking time and
LESS and MORE will appear.
Touch desired doneness.
