INDICATORS AND DISPLAY MESSAGES

If one of the following messages appears in the display, take prompt action as instructed by the message.
Message
Maintenance required.
Call for service. –
Toner supply is low.
Change the toner cartridge.
Check the toner cartridge.
Take out toner cartridge and shake it.
Reinstall it and close the front cover.
Please replace the toner collection
container.
Change the toner cartridge.
Remove paper from the center tray.
Please check the paper size of tray < >.

It is time for regular maintenance. Contact your SHARP Service Department.
Turn off the power and then turn it back on. If this does not clear the message,
write down the 2-digit main code and 2-digit sub-code ("
power, and promptly contact your SHARP Service Department.
The toner cartridge must be replaced soon.
Check to see if the toner cartridge has been installed properly.
Remove the toner cartridge as explained in
CARTRIDGES" (page 1-49), shake it, and then reinstall.
Replace the toner collection container as explained in
COLLECTION CONTAINER" (page 1-52).
Replace the toner cartridge as explained in
CARTRIDGES" (page 1-49).
The number of sheets in the output tray has reached the limit. Remove the paper.
